I’ve released the first track from my forthcoming album “Stepping it Lightly Towards the Abyss” – which is a collection of jungle/dnb inspired tunes with some other little bits and pieces in between.
Presented as a kind of “digital 12″” – the track “Going Along” is backed with a remix utilising my Crambient™ techniques. Here’s the deal:
Going Along is a song about flow, journeys, adapting, growing, mutating, evolving. It’s a song for the fool.

Side A – Going Along is a mutant jungle/drone/industrial/breaks tune. At 180 bpm, it rattles along relatively smoothly, but with a sense that things could go off the rails at any second. It’s Snowpiercer held together by duct tape and chaos magick.
Side B – The remix. This will be the first Crambient™ experience for many listeners. Drums are stripped, things are slowed down, layered, tweaked and warped. The result is a kinda noisy, kinda dark ambient/dub inspired soundscape, doubling down on the drones and atmosphere.

Going Along is taken from the forthcoming album STEPPING IT LIGHTLY TOWARDS THE ABYSS, which features similarly spirited tunes interspersed with other temporal anomalies along the way.
In the interest of full transparency, here’s the plan: this single will be on streaming services after a period of being exclusive to Bandcamp. There is one more single to come, which will be rolled out the same way. The album itself will not be on streaming services – it will only be available on Bandcamp.
